About Me

Mona Hillis is a triple-threat performer who was born in Tampere, Finland and grew up in Mount Forest, Ontario. Thanks to her ever-supportive family, Mona pursued dancing before she even learned to speak english.

From dancing, Mona’s interests grew into both acting and singing, which naturally blossomed into a love for musicals. Mona started her acting career at the age of ten as Marta in The Sound of Music while her father played Captain Von Trapp.

After a wonderful childhood spent on stage, Mona went on to study at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. During her time at Randolph, Mona played the lead in her graduating classes’ production of Caryl Churchill’s The Skriker, while also finding successes outside of school; She played Ariel in a touring production of The Little Mermaid.

In the past several years, Mona has continued to find success in multiple productions each year. To this day, Mona tirelessly trains through continuous weekly dance classes, regular vocal coaching, and acting studies. When she’s not in a studio or in front of her self-tape camera, you can find her hunched over her cross-stitching or making her newest home-brew beer.
